Northern Kenya Landscape (NKL) is a new conservation frontier for WWF-Kenya. The expansive landscape offers an unparalleled opportunity for biodiversity conservation. But it is highly vulnerable to extreme effects of climate change. The landscape has untapped potential for WWF-Kenya with unique habitats, endemic and endangered species and critical wildlife corridors. Given the vastness of the landscape, we will identify and implement scalable solutions in key areas. This ensures our efforts have a ripple effect, positively affecting a wider portion of NKL over time.
